summarise briefly Teachers’ shiatsu experience/training

Clifford has been studying, practising and teaching Shiatsu since 1981. He served a full-time apprenticeship with Pauline Sasaki in 1986, and became the first non-American graduate of her teaching programme.  Since then, Clifford has worked at developing the syllabus at the Shiatsu College, and has also established a Shiatsu practice in Norwich, which has grown to include three full-time practitioners. During this time he has acquired a growing international reputation which has led him to teach in the U.S.A. and widely throughout Europe.

Dinah first moved to Norfolk to study English Literature, going on to teach at schools in Cambridge and later in the Sudan. Returning to Norwich in 1985 she was introduced to Shiatsu by Clifford Andrews and has continued to study with him since then.  She has been practising full time in the Norwich clinic since graduating in 1990 and is a registered teacher & teacher trainer with the Shiatsu Society.

Celia Little began her Shiatsu training with Clifford Andrews in 1988. Since registering as a practitioner in 1991 she has been in practice at the Norwich Shiatsu Centre . She teaches for Adult Education and at the Shiatsu College, Norwich.  Prior to studying Shiatsu, Celia was involved in movement work and dance, especially the Japanese dance form Butoh. She continues to work both as a performer and teacher.

After obtaining a degree in Psychology, Sylvie taught Drama at secondary level for a few years before working in the fashion business. She also obtained a Diploma in TEFL in '86 and a Cert Counselling in '88.  She studied with Cliff Andrews in Norwich, graduating in '92 and is a registered teacher with the Shiatsu Society.  She now has a busy professional practice at the Norwich Clinic and  regularly teaches for the Shiatsu College in Norwich, Edinburgh and Cambridge and has run occasional courses in Sicily.
