Shiatsu
understands the human being as a system of energy (traditionally called Ki) that
circulates in channels called meridians. These meridians have physical, psychological and
spiritual functions. Shiatsu, which literally means "finger pressure", promotes
and rebalances the flows of energy in the meridians by applying pressure with the hands,
thumbs or elbows. |
